discussion of MEMS CAD tools

Hello,

I would like to start a discussion on MEMS CAD tools. Specifically, there
appear to be 3 leading MEMS CAD tools: IntelliSuite, CoventorWare and
MEMSCAP. I would like to hear opinions of MEMS designers and fabricators
that have used these CAD tools, especially if you have experience with more
than one tool. Please, no input from sales people.

I have used IntelliSuite for the past 2 years and have been pleased with
it. When we have discovered S/W bugs, IntelliSense has been very
responsive at fixing them. Their assistance with design/simulation
problems has been pretty good. I think its capabilities are good. I like
the fact that you can import mask files to the simulator that were laid out
with other tools. IntelliSense has continued to improve the tool and often
releases updates.

Sincerely,

Robert Dean
