Plating solutions (such as enthone's EN-100) are a really good place to
start, and the plating solution manufacturers are the best place to get
process info. However, yhey rarely have anything useful on their web sites,
and tracking down an applications engineer is a tough job if you are small
scale (i.e. doing research?)
I've found that tracking down the applications people at the plating
solution manufacturers (such as enthone) is a task of many days, but well
worth the effort. Just be prepared to convert microns to microinches in
your head.
Good luck,

Subject: [mems-talk] Electroless nickel/Immersion gold process
Could anyone recommend a reference containing a process for plating
electroless nickel and immersion gold?
Thanks,
