Hi Qintao,
>From my experience, Solidworks does not have the capabilities to produce
layouts. At least this was the case when I last tested it.
I suggest using AutoCAD MDT, it has all the capabilities you need to make
layout (it has layers) and you can produce easily 3D structures.

Subject: [mems-talk] solidworks

Hi, all,

I am trying to learn solidworks to draw masks because
it is simple and can easily transfer 2D to 3D. But I
find a really hard problem that it's hard to do
aligments, you must draw different masks separately
but don't do as Cadence and LEDIT did. Cadence can
draw different mask on one layer with different
colors. Who did happen to use solidworks before, do
you have any ideas for multi-layer design?

Thanks a lot,

Qintao
