Vitalik:

Contact elements will work in a Multi-field simulation with structural
and electrostatic elements. I recommend the surface-to-surface contact
elements. They are the most robust. Which contact elements did you use
and what behavior did you see?

Subject: [mems-talk] Electrostatic actuation in ANSYS 8

Hello all,

I perform the electrostatic simulations with multifield analysis , it
works good using structural element 42/82/45 and electrostatic element
121/123. But now I tried to add the CONTACT elements to the coupled
model and it didn't work. Maybe I didn't use the proper contact
elements?

I would appreciate if anyone can help me.
Thanking you in advance.
