Quartz Tuning Forks

Good Day,

Would someone have an idea on how to dervie the Young's Modulus of
elasticity for anisotropic materials, I am using Quartz? I found an equation
for Young's Modulus from a book but when I use the value to find the
theoretical resonant frequenices the percentage of error as compared to the
experimental is huge. Basically I am using a Quartz Tuning Fork (QTF) and I
have modelled the tines as a cantilever, because the length is much larger
than the width or the thickness. I also modelled the QTF in Ansys and got a
better approximation of resonant frequenices as compared to the experimental
values.

Thank you and with kind regards,

Abhi
