Hello,
I am looking for a small, perhaps adhesive mountable, sensor that could
be used to measure tensil stress. What I aim to do is monitor how much
tension a wire can withstand. I have been looking for thin film strain
gauges that do static measurement, but have not had much luck. Perhaps
I am not looking in the right place.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

        Thanks!
