I have bought down to 0.2mm 4x4" sheets Schott borosilicate from S.I.
Howard Glass. They are pretty painless to work with, but maybe not if
you are outside the US. Shipping without breakage can be a challenge.

I am looking for plate glass with a thickness of .3 or .5 mm to be
sputtered, but it seems that it doesn't exist on earth...
