Dear Joseph Cefai:

We provide custom fabrication services for a fee in microfluidic device
fabrication. We have experience with a number of substrate types,
including silicon, borosilicate glass, Pyrex and quartz. We have
capabilities in channel etching (wet chemical etch and RIE etch), wafer
bonding, and fabrication of on-chip bio-compatible electrodes (see our
web page). The cost for a run of 5 wafers/substrates (bonded and
diced), including the photo mask(s), typically ranges from $3,500 to
$6000, depending on the complexity of the design. Our typical
turnaround time is about 6-7 weeks after the design is signed off. We
have the capability to meet your specified channel requirement, and I
would be pleased to provide you with more detailed information, if
interested.

Sincerely,

Yuebin Ning Ph.D. Phone: (403)492-3914
