Who can afford me helps on metallic micro-accelerometer ?

Hello,

I'm a student who intends to focus on metallic capacitive
micro-accelerometer with wide measurement range. I want to know why there
are so few non-silicon micro-accelerometers. And can you tell me if any
non-silicon micro-accelerometers have been made out which can measure but
not only sustain acceleration above 10,000 g's? To non-silicon
micro-accelerometer, does the obstacle exist in production process or
performance? What difficulty is likely to be met in the research?

I need your help! Thank you very much!
