You may run into problems. Heating Aluminum on Silicon will alloy the
aluminum into the silicon (forming an ohmic contact), and it will easily eat
through a native oxide. In fact, you can form an ohmic contact with a piece
of aluminum, a silicon wafer, and a propane torch!

Subject: [mems-talk] Diffusion of Aluminum through Native SiO2
dear Sir,
Please could you tell me if Aluminum diffuses through native Silicon dioxide
after heat treatment ( sintering). As native SiO2 always exists at room
temperature
