I have a proto type to small production shop manufacturing
precision optical components including grinding, shaping, lapping,
polishing , drilling, slicing and dicing of optical materials , sapphire as
well. Diamond blades should be ok, the grit size and concentration probably
be determined by the wafer thickness and desired finish.
