Arun:

You can use the CMATRIX macro to calculate capacitance. All you do is
mesh the dielectric and group the nodes on the surface of the conductors
into nodal components.

CMATRIX is explained in Chapter 10 of the "Low Frequency Electromagnetic
Analysis Guide" and in the "Commands Reference". You can just type
"HELP,CMATRIX" in the command line Window to get to the Commands
Reference.

Subject: capacitance calculation in ANSYS

Hi
I am trying to model a capacitive pressure sensor,
I am using multifield solver approach.
I am fairly sucessful in getting in displacements on applying pressure
and voltage.
but i am not able to get capacitance.
can you please advice me which method to proceed in dtermining the
capacitance of the parallel
plate
