Calculate switching speed using resonance frequency

Hi all,

I am working on a device name as Mechanical Anti-Reflected Switch, having a
central plate which is supported by four beams (trampolian type structure).
I am using this device to attenuate the optical light. I calculated the
resonance frequency of the device using Coventorware software. I want to
calculate the switching speed/response time of the device. Is there anyway
to calculate the switching speed of the device using resonance frequency,
theoretically?

Regards,
Deepak
