Keith, I came across the following note on the Web and am looking for the
same. Any luck on finding some commercial sources.

Thanks,

Keith,

I agree that some products are more difficult to find than others...
however, the Thomas register contains far more
information than the local paint vendor. Taking your example... if I needed
to find electrodeposited photoresist and a
resource like the Thomas Register didn't have a listing for it, I'd
probably look under photoresist manufacturers and start
calling them. If there was no listing for photoresist manufacturers, then
I'd look at a bottle of resist we have in the lab and
call up that manufacturer... say Shipley for instance. If they don't make
electrodeposited resists, they will most certainly
know which of their competitors do, and in most cases are more than happy
to give you the information.

At this point, if I'd had no luck, I'd contact the MEMs community to see
what others were using. Or if the performance of the
resist wasn't acceptable, then I'd check to see what others were using. My
point was that this mailing list should NOT be the
FIRST resource used to find information like this. We are extremely lucky
to have easy access to the experts in this field. I
would hate to clutter their mailboxes with unnecessary messages since it
makes it more difficult for them to respond to more
technically oriented questions in a timely manner.

I welcome your comments.
