Our Workshop on "Microsystem Technologies in the USA and Canada" that took
place in Dusseldorf/Germany on Nov.3 was quite successful. Many of the speakers
also joined us for a tour to German MEMS companies and research institutes. It
seems that there is a high interest in further cooperation on all sides.
Abstracts of the presentations will be published in a special issue of our
newsletter "mst news", which will be available in January 1996.

Right now, I am gathering comments and declarations of interest for further
activities in this field.

Also it is still possible to put articles or announcements into our "mst
