Hi Sheng,
I would suggest a couple of things:
1. Plasma clean the glass just before putting on the polyimide
2. Use adhesion promoter, e.g. VM-651, freshly prepared
That said polyimide readily absorbs water which causes it to swell thus
creating stress and has a much higher conductivity to ions than to
electrons (like 5 orders of magnitude). So beware electrical applications
of polyimide where it will be in ionic solutions for extended periods.
