As you are probably aware, there is a third MEMS journal club in the Los
Angeles area (after the Boston and Bay area ones) that meets once a month. The
reason that you might be aware of this is that mems@isi was on the distribution
list, until it was removed a few weeks back to cut down on your e-mail traffic.
If, however, you would like to have your name added to our e-mail list, please
send a message to [email protected].

The SMAWG group (Sensor and Micro Actuator Working Group-- appropriately
acronymized for the Southern California area) meets on the first Monday of
every month. Location rotates among ISI, Caltech and UCLA. In the past we have
discussed such issues as gyro and rate sensor technology, design tools, etc.
Traffic on the smawg e-mail list is rather light, primarily containing meeting
announcements. If you would like more information, please contact me directly.

Thanks,
Lilac
