Dear all,

As far as I know, the only use of permanent magnets in MEMS are the ones we use
in our thin film magnetic heads. We are depositing and structuring those magnets
for over six years in production in our Magnetic head/MEMS foundry.

Subject: Permanent magnets in MEMS

0100,0100,0100Hi all:

the recent enquiry by 0000,0000,8000Suresh G.K.
Ananthasuresh

on permanent magnet membranes triggers another question, that I
hope many of you will have answers to:

what are the main uses of permanent magnets in MEMS?

what are the applications where the availability of permanent
magnet films would be important?

are there current applications or papers where a permanent magnet
film is used?

Thank you in advance for all your help.

     Giovanni
