Dear MEMS member,
The number of email which I get every day from this mailing list is really
big and many people are concerned about that. That's why I decided to write
an email to propose a solution for the problem of the mixed incoming email
from MEMS mailing list and other important emails. What could be done is
just to setup a rule for your incoming email in your email client (if your
email client has this feature). That means that you can setup in some email
clients a rule in order to receive part of your email, by choosen criteria,
in another folder. I use Outlook Express and what you should do is to create
a rule to the email coming from MEMS. If you use Outlook Express ver 4.0
then you have to go to: TOOLS -> INBOX ASSISTANT -> ADD. Type in the "FROM:"
field [email protected] and in the "COPY TO:" field your target folder where you
want to get your email from MEMS (i.e. MEMS). This settings will allow you
to receive all your email from MEMS in another choosen from you folder. For
Outlook Express ver 5.0 the setting procedure is a little bit different. Go
to TOOLS -> MESSAGE RULES -> MAIL -> MAIL RULES -> NEW. Check the box:
"Where the From contains people" and click on "people" in "3.Rule
Description" and type [email protected]. After that check the box: "Move it to
the specified folder" and clicking on "specified" in "3. Rule Description"
you can give a name of your folder for the incoming email from MEMS (i.e.
MEMS).
I hope this information will help most people to sort your incoming email.
With Kind Regards,
Vladimir Kutchoukov
