I am fairly new in the MEMS field. I have intense
interest in transgenic technology. In transgenic
operation, one must manage to control the injected
volume(at picoliter level) of foreign DNA. At present
the bioengineers carry out the transgenic operation by
hand or open-loop automation, which leads to low
efficiency and tiredness. Microelectromechanical
systems possess the property of closed-loop.
Personally I think can we apply the microfluid control
system to this field? Can someone please give me some
detailed advice? Besides my proposed microfluid
control system, are there any good method to solve the
problem?
