Solder questions

Hello,

My name is Wesley Cabreros, and I am an undergraduate student at the
University of California, Los Angeles. I am doing some research for my
internship on the effectiveness of forming gas on solder. I was
searching on the web, and I came across a page where your web site was
referenced in association to a question about solder. Any information
you can give me will be helpful. Specifically, I would like to find out
the initiation temperature for the forming gas to start reducing the oxide
on the solder. We are using 63/37 SnPb solder with a forming gas composed
of 15% H2 and 85% N2. Also, do you know the ignition temperature for a
15% H2 gas mixture?

Once again, any help you provide will be beneficial.

Thank you,
Wesley Cabreros
