Sputtering gold on POM (Poly-oxy-methylene)

Hello there,
Could anyone help me ?
I need to sputter gold onto POM but somehow there's no adhesion to the POM.
The POM could not be etched ( using Ar gas) and i'm running out of ideas.
I was advised to sputter an adhesion layer before sputtering gold but the
problem may be the same, no adhesion to the POM surface.

Thanks for the help in advance
Steve
