Dear all,

I am looking into the fabrication of glass capillaries with the following
approximate dimensions
ID=10 microns, OD=30 microns and Lenght >=10 mm.
I know that PolySciences sells capillaries with the right ID but too large OD.
I have the following
questions:

1. Has anyone tried etching Polysciences' capillaries to reduce OD, possiblly
with BHF?

2. Does anyone know how to cut the capillaries to achieve nice straight or
rounded endings with
no rough irregularities.

3. Does anyone know of any vendors that provide smaller ODs? I have been
looking into capillary
electrophoresis but with no luck so far?

Thanks in advance,
