Hi Eyad,
I work on SiO2 ,W and AlN but the generalised formula for acoustic impedance
for a plane wave (T or L) is: sqrt(cii *density) where cii is elastic
coefficient (N/m2)
SiO2 = 13e6 N.s/m3
W = 100e6 N.s/m3
AlN = 37.164e6 N.s/m3
A good referenec would be Acoustic fields and waves in solids by B.A. Auld.
Properties of material are listed, the acoustic impedance can be found by
using the above formula.
