Kenneth,

Hello. We have several sponsored research efforts to develop MEMS devices
in laminate (PCB) technology. This technology is applicable to several
areas of MEMS, including inertial sensors, acoustic sensors, vibration
isolation filters, and micro-fluidics. In theory, PCB technology could be
a lower cost process for SOME types of MEMS devices than the traditional
silicon MEMS technology. I gave a presentation on laminate MEMS technology
at the recent IMAPS Advanced Technology Workshop, last November. Please
contact me if you would like more information.

Sincerely,

Robert Dean
