Update on sci.engr.micromachining newsgroup
Christopher Raum
1996-08-08
The call for votes on the Usenet newsgroup sci.engr.micromachining
was sent to a volunteer vote taker on July 4th. Unfortunately, due
to the work load and the volunteer nature of the group, it takes
the vote takers a while to get everything set up for the vote.

Hopefully the vote for our group will be underway in the next
couple of weeks. At that point we will have one month to vote for
the group. At the end of the month if 2/3rds of the votes are yes
votes and there are 100 more yes votes than no votes, the group
will be created and propagated around the world.
