Vitta is still is operation. I have used their frits on the release paper
called "transfer tape". Their phone number is (203) 790-8155 and they are
located in Connecticut. There is another company which sell frits they
are Ferro Electronic glass and are in Cleveland OH, TEL (607)-974-4525.
I have use these frits to bond silicon to silicon and glass to silicon and
  glass to glass.
